Just outside the restaurant and inn is our 1.5 hectare farm. Everything from cucumbers and zucchini to various salads, herbs and flowers grow here.<\/p>\n

We begin preparations for the Christmas season in early autumn and take the best from the harvest. Our herbs and wild shoots are essential as they flavour everything from the Christmas schnapps to our homemade sausage. We flavour and pickle our own herring with lots of love and care, and each year we pleasantly surprise our guests by adding some unexpected flavours to the classical repertoire.<\/p>\n
\n\t\tTastes influenced by our garden\n\t<\/h3>\n\t
We emphasize offering green alternatives on our Christmas table as agricultural cultivation is the core of our business. We dry parts of the harvest earlier in the autumn, which later can be used on the Christmas table. It is essential for us that the food we serve is produced sustainably and in a good manner. And does it get more locally grown than here where you can see the crops from the restaurant?<\/p>\n
\n\t\tClassical tastes made new\n\t<\/h3>\n\t
In a traditionally Swedish way, we follow the seven Christmas servings. We offer herring, most varieties of cold and smoked fish, tasty vegetable dishes and cold cuts. Thereafter a variety of warm dishes and finally, about thirty goodies are served on the dessert table. Here you will find both sweet desserts and fine Swedish cheeses. It is simply a matter of choosing what you think looks most tasty.<\/p>\n
